As this project begins to take shape, it will look more like a Rasnick family project, and in part it is. There are Rasnicks in both my mother’s and father’s side of the family. In looking at a sketch of my family tree, I know far more of my mother’s family, her mother’s maiden name was Rasnick, and my father’s mother’s family, her name was also Rasnick, than I do my Grandaddy Counts’ family. Within this tapestry is my name of course, and my mother’s maiden name, Kiser. So though this project bears the name Counts, it is indeed the story of a vary large family with several last names. I ask all within this family, Kisers and Rasnicks, Counts and Blevins, Sutherlands and Powers, to make this site your own. I also hope to see many Counts names appear here that I don't know, but will soon through the use of this site.
